Dad's Trailside Bed and Breakfast is a large 19th century home, located on scenic highway Route 201, 15 miles north of Skowhegan, in Solon, Maine. We are conveniently located for a variety of seasonal activities: golf, summer theatre, hiking, white water rafting, hunting, or fishing. You can snowmobile on ITS trails right outside the door, and in the fall view spectacular foliage (and perhaps a moose) on Route 201 along the Kennebec River.

Bennett Hill Lodge is located in southern Piscataquis County in the town of Parkman, in the region known as The Maine Highlands. We offer bed and breakfast accommodations in a secluded rustic lodge situated on 230 acres. A 36-acre trout pond on one end and a 20-acre bog on the other border our property.The lodge is a 4000 square foot country home. The main house has a great room with a fieldstone fireplace to relax and enjoy all our home has to offer. We have 5 comfortable rooms with private baths, all located on one level. All floors and high ceilings are covered with pine and the smell of a wood fire will surely give you a sense of "home".We are located just 5 miles from The Moosehead Trail between Dover-Foxcroft and the Greenville, Moosehead Lake Region. Matagamon Wilderness is a great place to come snowmobiling - the snow comes early and stays late. In April 2005 we went for a 100 mile ride and it was beautiful and still enough snow to sled. We are located just 0.5 mile off of ITS 85 (kept groomed) and at the end of the Baxter Park Trail (Katahdin Loop). A great place to stop, get warm and food. On the trail and in need of need and gas? Well Matagamon Wilderness also has a store anddeli. There is gas, oil, and sparkplugs for your sled. Homemade food - Pizza, Stew, Chili, Italians,Pie, Whoopie Pies, Cookies, and Drinks.
